A picture of a cockapoo puppy
There are many different types of dogs in the world, and they have different types of hair. Some dogs, like Poodles and Havanese, don’t shed and they are called hypoallergenic. There are other dogs, like Labs and Spaniels, that do shed and people who are allergic to dogs can’t be near them. When you mix a shedding dog and a non-shedding dog breed together, the puppies become half-shedding and half-non-shedding. An example is a cockapoo (a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle). What type of dog do you have? Does it shed a lot, a little, or none? Is anyone in your family allergic? Is your dog a mixed, or full breed? What are your thoughts on shedding and non-shedding dogs?
